Vitamin D: That ray of sunshine!

As you can gather from the title - a little sun session can go a long way. 

A 30 minute sun session can give you 10,000 - 20,000 IU of Vitamin D which is great, but not always feasible in the winter. Based on research I would say that 600 IU is the bare minimum daily intake of Vitamin D - making it almost imperative that we top up our Vitamin D levels with supplements in the winter.
